"MY LITTLE FRIEND" Ring Guns

Shown below is my version of the classic ring pistol, similar to "le Petit Guardian", "Le Femme Fatale", etc. it is a 6 shot 2mm pinfire, with "white brass" ring, and blued steel parts. Each vintage case is different, and relined with "French fit" recesses. On the cover is an inset plaque with "MY LITTLE FRIEND" etched into it. Think of it as my tribute to Al Pacino. At present there are only six left from the first edition of eight. The four shown below are ready to ship. All parts are numbered, and you can see the number on the frame under the pin shield in the second photo of each group. There is only one size which is between 9.5 and 10.

Using a mold for a Petit Guardian, I pulled several waxes, filled the old lettering with wax, and had them cast in brass. I then hand engraved the new lettering around the rim with deep cut recesses. Then a new mold was made and waxes pulled, which were then cast in whate brass, or what is sometimes called German Silver.

All the steel parts were then made and fitted to each ring gun, polished and blued.
